Autumn is in the air. Itβs my favorite time of year. Cooler breezes and colorful leaves make my soul stand on its tiptoes.
Speaking of seasons, itβs been a fruitful one for writing. Iβve produced more blog content than normal and have lots of ideas coming down the pike. I hope youβve been blessed by the words. I enjoyed writing them and have appreciated those of you whoβve interacted via comments or email.
I wanted to pass along a personal update.
Iβm nearing the finish line on my first book! Iβve been writing nonstop since March and have a full manuscript in hand. I hope to share more info soon. There’s still quite a lot of work to do, though.
Over the next few months, I’ll be rewriting portions where feedback was given, and locating and working with an editor. I still haven’t identified an editor. If you know one who’d be willing to work with a broke writer trying to put out their first book, will you let me know? My goal is to have it published by late winter or early spring.
Blog posts will likely slow over the next month or two as I dedicate my free time to completing the book.
Hereβs my ask: please pray for the project. Writing a book is no simple task. Itβs easy to get lost in the weeds and feel discouraged. Itβs also tempting to put too much pressure on myself or think too highly of myself. God is teaching me many wonderful things through the process. Itβs been humbling.
I canβt wait to get the book into your hands if youβre interested.
