Excellent or Praiseworthy – August 2023

We’re quickly approaching my favorite time of year. I love autumn. Blessings to you this season.

1. No Fear of Old Age

Growing old doesn’t have to be a drag. There is beauty in it. Tim Challies shares some hopeful words.

2. Finding Contentment in a World of Want

A great article discussing where true, abiding contentment is found.

3. I Killed Jesus

“I killed the author of life, and you did too, and God raised him from the dead.”

4. Will There Be Technology in Heaven?

Randy Alcorn’s answer made my heart beat a little faster.

5. Rest is Obedience

We all need it. We all fight against it at some level. Glenna Marshall says, “I need to rest. You need to rest. To be obediently still. To know that God is God, not you, not me.”

6. Without Love

Jonathan Ogden may be my favorite Christian musician at the moment. His new song, Without Love, is pure gold.
